If you travel a lot, you will
find very interesting places. This can sound obvious, but after
travelling around Castilla y Leon, I’ve found that very near you, the
weather, the people, the habits and landscapes are not the same as
yours. People always say Spain is a group of countries and weathers, and
I feel like is true.
Firstly,
if you look into the definition of tourist, you can find that a tourist
is a person who travels to a place to spend there some days. At the
place, you can decide what kind of approach are you going to take, if
you are going to be involved with local population, or on the other
hand, you are going to have fun and see the best sights and monuments of
the place.
Secondly,
in this case Castilla y Leon, it’s a quite big community, so it’s
normal there will be differences between for example Soria as
Valladolid, or Leon with Zamora. It’s often said that the weather make
the people different, so in places where rainy days are numerous like
Leon, or very cold winters like Valladolid or Soria the differences with
Segovia and Salamanca are quite big.
Finally,
in a country as Spain, we depend so much on tourist, small places like
Avila or Palencia are making a big effort to try to start a tourist
business, not only Spanish tourists, but foreign too. And the rampart of
Avila or the cathedral of Palencia make this start up easy.
